CYBONET Introduces New Immigrants to Opportunities in Israel’s Technology Sector

Earlier this month Cybonet welcomed new immigrants, currently attending the Hebrew language program at the University of Haifa, as part of a joint initiative with the Jewish Agency for Israel. The delegation was made up of new immigrants from countries including Russia, Ukraine, France, USA, Brazil, Chile and Venezuela.

The Jewish Agency has an Employment and Careers program within its Aliyah and Absorption Department, headed up by Asya Chairsky. Asya works with Hi-Tech companies in Haifa to organize company visits and provide the immigrants with advice and insight into career options available to them.

David Feldman, CEO of Cybonet, attended the University campus to give a presentation to the students, and also invited them to visit the Cybonet offices at the Matam Hi-Tech business park in Haifa. David remarked: “We are proud to support the local community and see the value in helping graduates from abroad, with their different cultural backgrounds, academic qualifications and language skills, to find work in Haifa. This is a win-win situation; with both the individual and Hi-Tech sector in Israel benefitting from the successful integration of highly skilled immigrants into the Israeli job market.”
